Uzuri Hair Studio is a full-service Boutique salon.
We are currently operating as an ‘APPOINTMENT ONLY’ salon and as such we ask that all our clients please follow our appointment and cancellations policy.
We understand that in today’s busy lifestyle there may be a need to change, cancel or reschedule your appointment. However, we do ask that you give at least 24-48 hours notice prior to your appointment to avoid a cancellation fee.
We ask that you arrive to your appointment at the scheduled time to avoid client interruption, this allows us to maintain a minimum number of people in the salon and keep everyone comfortable and Covid-safe.
Bookings are essential to ensure that Uzuri Hair Studio client appointments are given the best personalised care.
Our Appointment & Cancellation Policy:
- Because of the personalised nature of our salon service, appointments are scheduled to ensure all appointments are not interrupted.
- We recommend you book ahead to ensure your preferred appointment time and day is secured.
- Long appointments such as ‘Keratin’ and ‘Creative Colouring Services’ will require a 20-50% non-refundable booking fee.
- The deposit will go towards the cost of the service
- Unless cancelled within 48hrs or less of the appointment time or client is a ‘No Show’, in which the deposit becomes non-refundable.
- All clients will be sent a SMS reminder 48hrs prior, giving you sufficient time if you need to alter or reschedule your appointment.
- All appointments must be confirmed by SMS or phone (89816263), unconfirmed appointments will be cancelled, to allow for other clients to book.
- A ‘No Show’ is defined when a booking has been confirmed but the client has not shown up for their appointment.
- A ‘No Show’ will incur a 50-100% cancellation fee of the service booked.
- All ‘Cancellations’ made within 24hr of the appointment will incur a 50-100% cancellation fee.
- All fees are charged at the discretion of the management.
- Clients who repeatedly ‘cancel’ & ‘no show’ will need to :
- Pay a non-refundable deposit of 50% for all future appointments.
- We ask that all appointments come on time to their scheduled appointment to avoid interruption to other scheduled bookings.
- We also ask that you come alone and do not bring visitors or children unless they are also booked in for an appointment, following with our Covid-Plan directives.

Covid Cancellation Policy:
- In case of a Lock-down, all appointments will be rescheduled to the first available appointment slot.
- In case of a Lock-out, appointments will go ahead as planned for those who are vaccinated and rescheduled to the first available appointment slot for those who are not.
- Deposits are non-refundable but will be honoured for a rescheduled appointment if available.
